I'm really excited by this movement in the backroom staff. Especially with Steve Clarke and the removal of Mike Kelly. Not so sure about bringing in an ex-player (Didi) with little coaching experience in. I'd love to be proved completely wrong and look forward to it.
      One tit for another.

Would love Didi in. Proper intelligent player and always spoke so well.

Apparantly he was always on the booze and was a terrible trainer...

Now if we were looking at Gary Mac, that would be an exciting appointment. Or even big Sami
Better than the other way round, never on the booze, brilliant trainer, yet **** player who never wins anything. LEGEND!

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

That's exactly what we need: Dalglish talked about having good team spirit as being the key to a winning team

You think we need someone who was a terrible trainer / poor role model to build good team spirit?? We'll have to agree to disagree on that one.

As I said, love the player. One of my all time favourites. But as a coach, given what I've read, I don't think he suits the role.

Dietmar Hamann is a contender to return to Liverpool as part of Kenny Dalglish’s new-look backroom staff, Goal.com UK can disclose.

Hamann, who is mid-way through a one-year player-coach contract at MK Dons, has not played since October 30 because of injury.

He has ambitions to move in to coaching full time when he hangs up his boots and is believed to welcome the opportunity to be reunited with Liverpool.

The former Germany international played 299 games in seven years at Anfield, where he was a firm favourite with supporters and was a key member of the 2005 Champions League-winning side and the team that won the treble in 2001.

Dalglish, who has already brought former Chelsea and West Ham No.2 Steve Clarke on to the Liverpool coaching staff as first team coach, has begun a shake-up of the backroom team in alliance with the club’s director of football strategy Damien Comolli.

I'd give him a game just to round it up to the 300. Ditch Poulsen at the next registration stage and add Didi.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
