Loved reading that stuff. Either prickly or taking the piss and none of Hodgson's inane waffle.

      ****ing new superhero, Ridiculo!
Meh, i'm still be unsure whether he should start but it's not really laughable suggestion though saying as players in his position aren't really delivering as such
      - Aside from maybe Lucas who's been our best player this season along with Reina imo.

You going to the match on Sunday?

Meireles' only crime is that he hasnt been amazing. He's still infinitely better than Spearing will ever be.

        And yes, i am.

I don't think he's shown anything really, nevermind of the amazing variety but opinion's opinion's.

Nice one, i'm sure the atmosphere will be electric

I'll pass on your judgement, in this case.

              No sweat.

I'm sure Raul will play a blinder on Sunday and not run a mile when Phil Neville comes at him

He may well not play a blinder.

I dont expect 'blinders' from foreign players who are still adjusting to a new league, language, culture, style of football, climate, country and everything else.

At the same time you wouldn't expect him to chicken out of tackles against your biggest rivals and at surely you'd at least expect him to show that he's capable of being a good player for us.

                  On both accounts, he's failed.

Lets hope on Sunday he'll rise to the occasion just as many foreign players who are still adjusting to a new league, language, culture, style of football, climate, country and everything else have done in the past in their debut seasons.

But then of course, thinking outside the box a little might lead one to think he may have possible had an issue with his ankle, and didnt fancy having it smashed in half for a nothing tackle in the middle of the park where the opposing playing had come in lunging with 2 feet.

As i say though, that might require one to think a little outside the box. And i know your box doesnt have an opening.

We'll see how he fairs this Sunday, craig.

Love the way you resort to personal insults when you're got at.

And the new language thing is bull**** because Mehreles is fluent in English, as the vast majority of Portugese people are.

And that entirely sums up my point. He doesnt have a worldie on sunday, and you'll take that as vindication of your viewpoint. Because he didnt have a worldie on a game.

Meh...whatever. I'm not that fussed about what you think either way, so i dunno why i'm being arsed to even engage in the conversation

Yes, i'm sure the portugese schooling system takes them through a rigorous course of english footballing terminology.

Blah again, why am i bothering?

                            As you were.

Meireles has neshed out of a few tackles in the last couple of games. I can't seem to recall him doing so in his first 15 games or so though......maybe he is still carrying an injury to his foot, from the Bolton game, which has put him off going in hard.

Be interesting to see if he still backs out of tackles for the next few games.

It's not really a problem for him though, the language so you score that excuse off for him.

Anyway, we'll maybe not bicker any longer, i'm sure we'll see an action packed display on Sunday from our £11mil signing.
