I still love Dean Windass. 3 sendings off in one game, haha.

Barton is a ****. Carragher actually come off as quite intelligent and well spoken, especially describing the game he's watching
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet

Sounds as if that surprises you

If he can manage to not lose the plot with his players(when it's uncalled for), you could defo see him being a manager one day.

Jeff ****ing Stelling shouts too much. Imagine if he did that on Countdown. There'd be heart attacks in the old folks' home.

He's one of the more limited players ever to have been a Liverpool centre-back. If he's a legend I'll show my arse in TJ Hughes's window

                More idiotic hyperbole.

Slow, terrible in the air, terrible with the ball.

On Sky, sitting between Paul Merson and Charlie Nicolas talking ****e is where he belongs.

                    Except he wasn't there yesterday.

I know he wasn't; I'm just saying it's the sort of company he belongs in.

In a purely technical sense, I agree he is limited...though I still think your comment a huge over exaggeration. However, if you focus on what he adds to the team as a whole, I think you are completely mad. Sorry.

                          Carragher has always been limited.

he was limited when in istanbul and he was a hero giving it his all. I am not sure that in 20 years he will be seen as a legend. Time will tell.

However he did play a huge part in our good times under Rafa and to a lesser extent the successes of GH.

his time is coming to an end though.

I think he knows it too, that's why he was desperate to get that 2yre deal.

He's obviously thinking of working in tv too, and is already making friends in the right places.

edit: or wrong places..depending on your viewpoint.

I hate all this 'legend' crap but come on. How many appearances has he made? Of course he'll be seen as a 'legend'.

He's not the classiest player we've ever had but that's a different category and isn't an essential qualification.
                              .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.
