Kuyt, Torres and Kelly played really well.

He was ****ing garbage. The number of attacks that died at his feet was utterly soul destroying. Dirk won me over some time ago but his form this season hasn't been good enough and IMO should be dropped.

Of course it is disgraceful, but you have to consider who's fault it is. It isn't the fault of the people who just got here is it? Or is it their fault, in your instant results world?

ok but the fact is that if you look at the last 12 months or to when alonso went and we never adequately replaced him. Its no surprise that we have fallen.

as fans the speed and the depth of the fall are shocking. however it is were we are and we wont wake up tomorrow and everything be rosy. that is down to the coaches on the training ground and identifying the right players and convincing them to come to us.

none of that is done overnight or infact in 8 - 10 weeks really when you look at the past 6 months

Might have worked out with the same results though. Kelly's still very inexperienced at CB and is coming in and gaining experience at RB and doing very well at it. Straight swap was probably the best way to go. The real problem is Skrtel. Still can't understand the thinking behind GJ at LB when Aurelio is fit, but he wasn't awful there today, not any worse than in his real position.

Load of bollocks - he's played centre back before with the Reserves and he has the height and power for playing there.

He would have been fine, imo.
