Fell asleep the first 10 minutes of the second half that ruined a very good performance up to then.
Knocked the confidence out of us for 10 minutes or so but we showed some fight and all in all a draw was a fair result.

Our confidence has been shown to be fragile these last 2 games, we're flying and get a goal in front and when the opposition equalise theres heads going down.

Was good to see we were trying to win the game up to the last kick.

I think we look better with each game and slowly improving.

Good performance in the first half, we should have been 3-0 up at half time, our confidence is very fragile though I said in the first half I was worried about what would happen if they scored. And when they did we shopped playing good football and started to panic.

Having said that when will we get some luck? Their corner for the first goal wasn't a corner, and us hitting the post first half, those moments were crucial

It's all a matter of confidence. Yes we've got some below par players, but you could see, as soon as we conceded goals confidence went out the window again. Will take a while to get back to it.

Mereiles played very well, you could see the goal gave him confidence, Lucas is a great player and I'm glad we've got him in Gerrard's absence especially. He's calm and he dictates play well.
Spearing played his heart out and I felt he was composed and had one of his better performances. Kelly per usual dynamite, Agger also. Skrtel is poor on the ball, but so's Carra (to highlight it's not 100% essential). Skrtel gets harried a lot.
Torres played brilliantly but he needs better service, as his first touch isn't always that. We just don't seem to have the quality of service, Meireles tried a few good balls but got caught out, so did Kuyt. Speaking of him, he played very well, professional performance and good to have his experience of the derby games and well taken penalty. Really glad he took it.

We were punching above our weight with the quality of players we have for so long and when that all went down the ****ter under Roy, it's going to take quite a bit of work by the management to get that back, if they can even reach it - but I'm sure they can.

Do you honestly think Meireles played well,seriously? And Lucas is not a great player, he is an effective player. Couldn't disagree more with this post, no disrespect.

We need a destroyer in midfield badly aswell as new CB's.of all the players we've lost recently Mashers presence is felt the most IMO.With someone like him in midfield the passers can get on with creating goals
