Looked well going forward, but disastorous at back, it's sad.

Think today we really missed carra, and agger going off ****ed us up.

Nervous wreck when Skrtel and greek play.
    As are they

Both need an organiser next to them to play remotely well. As a pairing they cause chaos
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Yea, in light of how **** he played recently, I thought he played very well and he kept on running and grew in confidence.

And with regards to Lucas, for me he's the one thing that keeps the midfield going, he's got a great passing ability in comparison to what we've been served up by everyone else in recent times, without him we'd be ****ed. It's as simple as that. And as soon as Gerrard comes back, Lucas will be less effective again. When Gerrard's gone, I'm ****ing glad we've got Lucas, we'd be really ****ed without him. And if you can't see that, then we'll just have to agree to disagree.

Poulsen, Jovanovic starting away at Blackpool. Johnson at left back when everyone knows he should be right midfield

Spearing who's played **** all games for the first team nevermind in a Merseyside Derby plays, Johnson stays at left back even though Aurelio's fit

A point gained. Massive overhaul/rebuild required in terms of confidence and personnel

Fair enough mate i meant no disrespect but i thought though apart from a nice goal Meireles was mediocre today, literally didn't do anything right, passing way off, gave away possession so many times in really bad areas, crossing and set pieces couldn't beat first man, very wasteful and ran around like a headless chicken for the most part.

I thought Lucas was poor today but has been decent this season, not the biggest fan of him but he can hold his head high IMO as been better than most this season, he'll never be a great player IMO but an effective one.

                    Different strokes i suppose

very negative here today Coming from the position we have found ourselves in I think today showed positives. Kelly has been fantastic, Jay played well today and he is better than others that have been bought in...he forced the play a lot in the first half especially, the one player putting their players under pressure. Torres looked like a different player. I thought Maxi did pretty well too. Shelvey seems to take stick too and not sure why. He is 19 years old and he comes on and chases and chases. He caused their players to panic and put the ball out a few times in the last ten minutes. He has got quality, and with game time he will do ok for us.

Our team's confidence levels have been in the **** for so long, currently they're so hanging by a thread, as soon as we concede the thread snaps. It's a real pity, we just need some warriors on the pitch. If we had Alonso............

I know Kenny is just getting to grips but he has made some very strange decisions that are open to debate. Investment is needed so so badly.

                              Shattered confidence all round

It takes time to turn things around. Some people can't seem to get their heads round that and expect improvements immediately.
                              Really?

I'm not convinced we need a massive overhaul of players, the first half showed for me that this team is capable of playing good football, we could have been 3-0 up at half time. The problem for me is confidence, you knew at 1-0 if Everton scored we'd fall apart. If we could build/ keep our confidence we'd be doing a hell of alot better.
