Low energy ****e replaced by high energy ****e. As someone else said JH needs to write some big checks pronto because there is a serious lack of quality.

We also have a negative goal difference without him

That doesn't seem to be any different to how we were in the second half, but at least we'd have some organisation, Skrtel and Kyriakos were all over the place. I don't necessarily think that Carragher is the reason we've been defending so deep this season.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

those saying that cara will make the difference at the back, will he? he is ageing his legs are going which happens to people. also his strengths that have served us well are not as strong any more and his weaknesses are and will get exposed more and more.

i dont think he is the answer any more, i dont think skrtel is either i wish we had a fit agger but we dont.

He was also involved in the first goal, made a nuisance of himself all game and generally impressed most reasonable fans judging by a lot of the posts so far.

Regardless of what you or anyone else thinks of Carragher, if fit he'd be playing alongside Agger instead of Skrtel and if you don't think that would make a difference then there is no point in discussing the matter further. Carragher is not the answer to our problems, dropping Skrtel has to be one of the first steps though.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

interesting that when we had bodge it was his fault now its the owners faults .

now bodge was crap but surely if the players are not good enough it stands for bodge too?

not that i want bodge or think he should have been here at all.

I think he'd be better than Skrtel is at the moment. I'm not saying that he's great, just that he's better than Skrtel, our defence 2nd half was a shambles, crying out for organisation. IMO we'd be better as a unit if Carragher were in there, he might make individual errors as well but I think there would be an improvement.

Clearly long term he isn't the answer but neither are Skrtel or Kyriakos

We we're deeper in the second half because Soto was on, who is on a par with Carragher in terms of pace. We can't afford to push up with either of those two players because we'll get burned a high percentage of the time. We were pretty fine in the first half, pushing up and creating chances. It's when we sit back and wait that we make things a lot harder for ourselves and hand the initative to the opposition.

We battered Everton in the first half, Torres looked back to something near his best and if it wasn't for 5 mad minutes after Agger had to come off I think we would have gone on to win.
Skrtel was at fault for both goals, Spearing isn't good enough, Kelly is now 1st team regular not a squad player.
Get Gerrard back in off Torres, buy a player or maybe 2 and we will be back up towards top 8 which is all we can ask for from here

Agree with all that. We would've lost this game if Hodgson was still here - the improved tempo and intensity on show in the 1st half is a notable improvement IMO.

We just can't defend anymore and our bottle goes as soon as we concede or come under any sort of pressure.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
