Just occured to me did anyone else wonder how much The Greek understood when Kenny was talking to him at half time before he came on!

I guarantee he didn't understand a single bloody word, just nodded his head in the silences
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

No disrespect but that chalkboard can be nonsense most of the time.

I thought we played much better.

We should have been out of sight at half time, and a performance of that level (first half) would beat most teams. We also showed a bit of promise in adversity in coming back form 2-1 down. We would never have done so under the dark reign of Hodgson.

Also, Kenny has got Torres firing again. Now he has his mojo back we will start winning more games, get Gerrard back playing behind him, get Carra back to sort out the defence - a couple of new signings to make up for the lack of depth and before you know it we will be climbing the league.

I remember looking at the Opta stats a few seasons a go and that was when I realised stats aren't all they're cracked up to be. If they had been I would have been thinking some seriously average players were top class.

I was gonna say even before I read these posts that the next time a debate on how reliable stats are that this thread should be referred to.

Considering we all watched the same 90 minutes of football has there ever been such extreme differences in opinion in how people seen the game and players performances?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

74.5% of stats are made up.

Perhaps.........but there are other variables that come into play - Academy/Spearing/Scouser/Running Around like a headless Chicken/Youth/Yet Another Misplaced Raul Pass Making Me Look Bad/Baldness/Short-Arsedness/Lucas' **** Hair/People Seeing What They Want to See etc etc

It depends if the aim is to summarize a data set quantitatively without employing a probabilistic formulation? If it is, then descriptive .

                          Caller on LFC now...

Spearing was immense second half unlike the 3 fairies Lucas, Meireles and Maxi who we need to get rid of. We don't need to by any wingers and other crap.

Oh dear, ****ing stupid how some players get support just for being local, that is absolutely no reason to rate a player higher than others and that is the only logic I think that the caller could be using.
As for immense, he only tried to make 3 ****ing tackles.
