have to agree that gerrard should be playing where meireles is and thats just behind torres.

meireles has done ok but gerrard is deadly in those areas and he should be the one supplying fernando.

Have to say too that kelly is doing really well down the right and some of his crossing has been brilliant.

Once again absolutely nothing from the wide players maxi and kuyt. We can play one but not both especially at home against teams we need to beat.

Good first half from us, should have been 1 up after that fantastic move. Johnson has been excellent as well as Agger who is going to be key tonight IMO. We're much more fluid and we're playing our pressing game again. Work rate has been top class. We need more precision in the final third, which had been a flaw of ours since the Rafa days.

We seem to have problem getting the ball off them. When we have the ball we look dangerous. Although Kuyt is having his usual mare of a performance. We should save his heavy legs for the away games where his busyiness helps the team. He almost put Gerrard in hospital with one pass ffs.

Just thinking how a certain Ajax player could excel playing with torres especially at home. Ah well. Come on red men.

They need to give Kenny the job full time. The players will then know where they stand. I fear the intial buzz may wear off if they start to get closer to May and they don't know if he's staying or not.
