Also delighted to see a couple of mini-rucks and the lads sticking up for each other and up for a bit of a scrap. Been too long since we saw that.

Deserved it just about but that performance annoyed me quite a bit because of how **** we were in the final 25 mins treating them like bloody Barcelona. We wouldn't have held on if it had been against Utd the amount of ball they had.
One things for sure we would have lost that match under Roy so at least it shows how far we've come in such a short space of time. Still need a number of re-inforcements.
Also Skrtel has to stop giving away stupid free kicks.

Even with Kenny back, we badly need a few new faces. Can't see that happening now which seems fairly predictable.
But another win and 3 more points.
Kelly had another good game as did Johnson and Raul.
Kuyt, and the other ugly one at the back were woeful at best.
He really rates Shelvey which is good for the lad, but he is the slowest player on the planet, I struggle to see how he'll make it over here in this era. 20 years ago great, abroad would suit him better.
He doesn't like something about Cole. Doesn't even get 5 mins. Weird. Wasn't there something a while back with Kelly? May be confusing with someone else.
Who's next then? Chelsea? Great.Always borrow money from a pessimist. He won’t expect it back. Oscar Wilde

Don't think we were as bad as that. Poulsen did OK, we passed the ball relatively well until we tired out in the last 20 minutes or so. If that goal in the first minute had stood out, we would have won that match fairly easily. Glad to see our fighting spirit & defensive ability back. The workrate was excellent tonight.Originally posted by Assassin View PostNow people will really apprieciate what Lucas brings to the team. The midfield was abysmal without him
Best players Agger, Johnson & Meireles IMO.Are we winning?

Thought both were pretty solid tonight though.

we got the 3 points but im worried big time.
we got dominated totally in the second half by fulham. i have absolutely no idea how they didnt score and once again skrtel lost pretty much every header he went for.
He even got outjumped by midgets like andy johnson.
We were under too much pressure, there was too big a gap between our defence and our central midfield line. At times they were too exposed and with all due respect to Kenny, poulsen doesnt have the recovery pace to be playing that high up the pitch.
The wide players did absolutely nothing and im not sure how maxi manages to play time and time again whilst contributing virtually nothing going forward. Gerrard should be playing behind torres and meireles should be in central midfield with lucas or whoever.
There are so many issues its scary but a win is a win and hopefully that gives the team more confidence for the next match.
Cant ****ing wait until carra comes back and gets the ****ing defence organised.[B]Sir Isaac Newton knew the universal law of karma - any action has its equal and opposite reaction.[B]
