I'd probably keep him as a 4th choice striker.

But if we can get 8 million quid then definitely sell.

Start optimistic and end up realistic. Unfortunately, under Rick Parrys guidance we started realistic and ended up a charitable institution. They should also put in a sell on fee 25% of anything over what is paid for him should end up back in our coffers.
Exactly, it's like if you had a crocked striker who was seemingly past his best but was a transfer target for a chavy club with more money than sense. You'd probably come up with a wild figure like £50m and then...

      Oh

I don't think we'll get 8 mill for him but the way we're going about it is the right way.

By asking that amount it means that teams will come in with an offer, maybe say 5-6 mill and he is worth that in this day and age.

5 mill is **** all for a player nowdays and he will bang a few goals in for whoever he signs.

We've been raped by clubs in the past when it comes to buying players so it's about time we started doing the same instead of getting peanuts for them.

£8 million is some price set for Ngog but i reckon we'll get about 4 maybe 5 million off some smucks

There is a good player in there somewhere and I hope he flourishes at Sunderland.

Would have preferred to have seen him loaned for a year to see how he got on, but I suppose at the minute he’s just not good enough for our first team.

We’ll also never get to sing about N’Gog, Ngoo and Amoo.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

                Harsh, although I did chuckle.

I think the problem with N'gog is that he seems to lack confidence - he has a look about him on the pitch which is like he's almost shocked to be out there.

Strange one because at times he's looked full of potential and other times he has looked ****. Which is why I can't work out if he's a £2m player or a £7m player.

Good signing by Rafa though, he's scored some important goals and seems to have a good attitude. I really hope he does well in the future.

I said the same - but that was in the hope of getting a decent fee for him, if as reports suggest we've got £7-8m for him as a make weight I don't think we could have done much better for him (unless he'd gone and scored 20 PL goals somewhere ). It was looking like he didn't have a future with us and he needs games somewhere, so good luck to him - except when he plays us of course
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I also reckon that Sunderland will make a profit on him in a few years.

No guarantee that he will form part of the deal according to the talk****e correspondent.

Knew it sounded too good to be true . . . .

Has he gone to be the new David Bellion then?

Feels a huge weight of my shoulders explaining that somewhere in him he's a good player... lol
