I'd have thought a club like Sunderland would be a good move for him, he clearly isn't going to get much game time with us if he stays.Originally posted by wavydavy View PostThe only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

i've got nothing but good words for ngog - he was a cheap signing that came from nowhere, he was a unknown, he came in he tried his hardest, he worked hard, he has always been professional and he scored some important goals which has raised his profile. I also felt sorry for him that he was basically thrown in at the deep end and was the only cover for at the time....the best striker in the world, who was struggling with injuries....a lad like him showed never have been put into that position.
I think he'd be a decent player for a mid to lower positioned team -
I also have a feeling that the 'move' to sunderland has been delayed until we tie up Connor Wickhami own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

Latest from Comoli regarding N'Gog:
Liverpool FC Director of Football says David N’gog has been given permission to speak to Sunderland about a potential move to the Stadium of Light.
It had been reported that N’gog was offered as part of the deal to bring 20-year-old midfielder Jordan Henderson to Anfield, but Comolli says N’gog’s transfer is separate.
After confirming Henderson’s arrival at the club, Comolli told the club’s official website, “Sunderland have had a strong interest in David, so we’ve agreed to let David speak to Sunderland about his future to see if he’s interested in going there. They’ve expressed a strong interest, so we’ll see what’s next for him. “

No mention of a fee yet. Wonder if we still rate him at £8m as reported. If so we might end up settling on about £5m for him? I'd be pleased with that.

Ngog Black Cats move still on
Sunderland hope to complete the signing of striker David Ngog from Liverpool for around £5million in the next week.
Ngog was offered to the Black Cats as part of the deal that saw Jordan Henderson move to Anfield earlier this month but in the end the Frenchman stayed at Anfield for the time being.
However, Steve Bruce is keen on landing the 22-year-old and hopes to wrap up the deal in the next seven days.
Ngog has been deemed surplus to requirements at Liverpool by boss Kenny Dalglish and will be allowed to move on in a deal that is set to be worth around £5million.
The striker, who has scored nine league goals in three seasons for the Reds, could get an immediate chance to face his old club if the transfer goes through as Sunderland travel to Anfield on the opening day of the new campaign.
Liverpool host Sunderland in the opening day of the 2011/12 Premier League season.

Seems his wage demands are holding things up, Greedy ****er
http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/liver...52-28933074/2/Liverpool FC striker David Ngog wage demands delay Sunderland transfer
DAVID NGOG’S proposed switch to Sunderland is being held up by the striker’s wage demands.
Liverpool are happy to sell the Frenchman for a fee of around £4million but the Black Cats have so far been unable to agree personal terms with him.
The Wearside outfit insist they can’t match the wages Ngog would earn if he remained at Anfield next season.
And they are hoping the Reds will agree to drop the asking price for the 22-year-old to enable them to meet his demands.
Ngog was initially expected to complete his move to Sunderland as part of the deal which saw Liverpool snap up midfielder Jordan Henderson earlier this month.
However, with Ngog on holiday and keen to weigh up his options, the clubs agreed to conduct the transfers separately with Henderson signing for £16million.
Ngog, who cost Liverpool £1.4million from Paris St Germain three years ago, has scored 19 goals in 94 appearances.
But he is now surplus to requirements at Anfield with boss Kenny Dalglish keen to bring in Ipswich striker Connor Wickham to provide competition for first choice duo Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll.
Sunderland’s talks with Ngog are ongoing and despite the delay they remain hopeful a compromise will be reached to enable them to secure his services.
Meanwhile, Sylvain Marveaux has hit back at rumours he failed a medical at Liverpool before signing for Newcastle United.
The 25-year-old French winger, who was a free agent after leaving Rennes, was on the verge of signing for the Reds last week before the deal fell through.
Newcastle pounced to snap him up on a five-year contract and Dalglish is now focusing on other targets like Aston Villa’s Stewart Downing.
Marveaux said: “I was in advanced talks with Liverpool but then they started to change the details of the contract. They were causing problems and I wasn’t happy with what was happening.
“I was close to signing for them, but Newcastle came in and that was it, I signed for them instead. I did not fail my medical at Liverpool.
“I do not have a problem with Liverpool. There is no vendetta. I’m looking forward to playing them, but I’m looking forward to playing every team in the Premier League.
“When I realised I would leave Rennes at the end of the contract, I wanted to come to England and I feel this will be a very good move for me. The thing that impressed me most about Newcastle United was how hard they tried to get me. They made me feel wanted.”
Liverpool Reserves will travel to Ireland for a friendly against Bray Wanderers on Monday, July 18 (7.45pm).
