How can you frequently give them away when you average 2 fouls a game? Don't be ****ing daft.
No sir its you being daft

It doesnt matter how many freekicks you are giving away its where you are giving them away

    Thats his problem

If you give away a foul on the halfway line its less dangerous than giving one 2 yards outside your box so its you my friend who is spouting ****
Bollocks does it. It is something that just gets constantly spouted but looking into it, it simply isn't true.
Just look back over Nov and Dec last season (From Fulham away on the 31st of Oct up to the Stoke away game on the 16th of Jan):
FK's in dangerous positions given by Lucas = 0
And if you are curious 3 for Mascherano.

          you ****ing nutter.

Its you sir who are spouting bollocks

There is not a game that goes by without Lucas giving away a daft freekick in a daft position

I have watched virtually every game and its a constant bugbear with me regarding Lucas

Its the biggest problem I have with him that said I still wold have him in the team as things stand today because hes the best we have in that position (which says a lot really)

Gutted. Pissed our chances of 4th up the wall with two poor performances. Throw in the poor performances v Sparta and you'd have to say the honeymoon period is over for Dalglish. Those type of results under Hodgson and people would be baying for blood, and rightly so.

Dalglish was tactically outclassed today by Grant. Noble, Hitslsperger and Parker dominated the game today and we never did jack about it. It was clear from an early stage we were losing the midfield battle. That set the tempo for the whole game and meant too much pressure on the defence and not enough possession for the forwards.

Wilson I said had to get the basics right today and he didn't. Looked composed at times then naiive at others. Time to go yet for him. Not ready.

I could moan at some other individual player performances, but truth is it all came down to poor tactics by Kenny. I said in the build up thread that 4 at the back is the best for us at present, as in 4231/4141. At 1-0 down we went 442, which was crazy and cost us dear.

I make that at least 4 bad games on the bounce. Hopefully against the Mancs we can turn it round.

Ever considered it is just your perception, because the stats DON'T back you up.

Lucas DOES give away silly free kicks, but I think we notice it more with him. And in the position he plays, it's hard for him not to give the odd one away.

Stats are bollocks mate, they rarely back many things up. They don't prove much in football. But what you see does count and that's fair enough.

He is good player but we need more in DM position.

Personally Lass or Tiote would be my type of signing to challenge Leiva for the starting role.

Lucas pretty much rediscovered himself when Roy brought in Poulsen (rose to the challenge and made DM position his own) and he could benefit again from the healthy competition.

Dont think it was Grant tactically getting one over on Kenny, just think it was that the West Ham midfield dominatated ours and if you look at the state of our squad/bench Kenny couldnt have done much about it.

Bringing on Poulsen, Maxi or Cole would not have offered anymore into the area we were losing
