    Absolutely.

I really don't care who plays (excluding Poulsen) but no doubt we will make a game of it.

Suarez is due a goal or two and this would be the perfect opportunity for him to bury mancs.

      From the Offal

First-team coach Steve Clarke is hopeful Raul Meireles, Daniel Agger and Fabio Aurelio will all return to full training ahead of Sunday's clash with Manchester United.

Meireles was substituted in the second half of our 3-1 loss at West Ham suffering from a knee injury - but he could feature when the league leaders visit L4 this weekend.

"We're hopeful," Clarke told Liverpoolfc.tv. "He had a little problem with his knee and as a precaution at the start of the second half we thought it was better to take him off. That gives him a better chance of being ready for the next game.

"He'll get three or four days on the easier list and then hopefully towards the end of the week we'll be able to put him back in the preparations for the weekend."

Aurelio injured his adductor in Prague last month while Agger limped off in the return leg with Sparta six days ago.

Clarke added: "It's similar comments. They are both on the easy list at the moment and we're almost sure Fabio Aurelio will join us (in full training) on Thursday, and we're hopeful Daniel will join us on Thursday or Friday at the latest."

Liverpoolfc.tv broke news earlier today that Martin Kelly would be out for a month after fears he had torn a hamstring were confirmed.

"He'll be out for a number of weeks," added Clarke. "It's disappointing for the player because he's been on a good run doing well for us. It's a blow for us but we can handle it and we'll move on."

        *vomits*

That right hand side looks almost pedestrian.

        Imagine replacing Agger with Skrtel.

I am praying for some genuine pace, width and trickery in the summer.

Think this will be the starting line up, maybe Poulsen instead of Poulsen with 'worst scenario' injuries. And i can't see Carroll ever starting this game, i think we'll see him for last 20 or so. Maybe we might get a bit of luck and get some good news on the injury front.

It's all gone a bit quiet on the Carroll front. I wonder why Clarke didn't mention Carroll when referring to those on the injured list. Without stating the obvious it could be that
              a. He is nowhere near ready and not even worth mentioning.
              b. He is ready to play a part.

Hopefully the latter because it would be a brilliant opportunity for a début.

We're going to get pumped if all those players are out.

                  That clears it up then

...I get what you are saying though
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

You never know with Dowd, he can be a bit idiosyncratic at times and I definitely wouldn't call him a homer.

                      We'll be fine.

If there is one game that we will collectively give everthing we got (and more) it is against Mancs.

No Vidic now for them! Though the way he's played against us recently I'm not sure whether that's a good thing...

He's quality. Probably the best CB in the league. Big miss without doubt.

Not sure if we'll have the quality ourselves at all though.

We don't, you fully know that we're a **** Europa league level team.
                              Are we winning?

Manure played like girls all the way through against Chelski and now should be sufficiently tired. I'm quickly switching from gloom to BOOM.
