Was half listening to you’re on SS as it was on in the background and some Manc cunt came on to complain about the ref. When it was suggested that Ferguson went OTT about the Atkinson, especially after Rooney last week, he nonchalantly and proudly replies, ‘but that’s what Ferguson is good at, it means we’ll get the next decision’, as if bullying is some sort of skill that only United can get away with.Originally posted by red g View Postthat cunt fergie knows exactly what he is doing. perfectly timed rant + livepool game on sunday = red cards for us and pelanties for them.
I’m trying not to, but some of the decisions United get away with are going through my head, the widely accepted ‘Fergie time’, the ‘wee Paul Scholes tackles’, the ‘can’t tame Rooney’s temper’, even the not speaking to the BBC, all things that blatantly break Premiership rules that United not only get away with, are praised for, laughed at and given their own wee nicknames and slogans.
Someone suggested in joking in the Rafa thread that he should expose Fergie and United and justify his ‘rant’, but I really wish he was spending his time off building a dossier against Fergie, then presenting it to the FA to explain. I had little interest in Sunday’s game after the weekend, but I really hope we destroy them now and Kenny makes a cunt out of Ferguson in his PC.If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Wes Brown has quite an annoying habit of covering in big games for an injury and being excellent, he seems really **** against bottom half teams though. So im not sure their injuries/suspension are that big a deal, Ferdinand and Vidic have both been dreadful against us a lot recently. I guess we'll see.
Dowd scares me at the best of times and now when Man Utd are playing the victim card then jeez, this could get ugly. He loses control of big games all the time, see the derby where he sent Gerrard off after about 15mins.
As it is though, if reffed fairly I really dont see them beating us.

Yeah Dowd has some history with us. He was the ref when Rafa took his glasses off and mocked him...think it was the Spurs game last season. Didn't give us a couple of blatant pens. Rafa was warned about his future conduct, and if I remember rightly the same week Ferguson was let off for making derogatory remarks about Alan Wiley's fitness. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

The crowd will need to even things up and scream for every decision and put him under pressure. Kenny is no fool either and I’m sure he’ll have a word or two to say in the build up.Originally posted by Chris View PostDowd scares me at the best of times and now when Man Utd are playing the victim card then jeez, this could get ugly. It may well work in our favour, as everyone will be expecting him to give United a big decision and he’ll know this. He’ll need to make sure he’s 100% right or it will be all over the media, so maybe them 50/50’s might just go our way.
Or am I just being foolishly optimistic? If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Without wanting to sound bitter, that's a big if, I've lost count of the number of times we've lost to them and major decisions have gone against us.Originally posted by Chris View PostWes Brown has quite an annoying habit of covering in big games for an injury and being excellent, he seems really **** against bottom half teams though. Agreed but they're usually at their place. We get royally ****ed over almost every time we play at their pit. At our place it's not usually a problem.Originally posted by Exiled_red View PostWithout wanting to sound bitter, that's a big if, I've lost count of the number of times we've lost to them and major decisions have gone against us.Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Ha, yeah, 'idiosyncratic' is a good description. He's completely unpredictable to me.Originally posted by Cormack74 View PostYou never know with Dowd, he can be a bit idiosyncratic at times and I definitely wouldn't call him a homer.
He seems to get so f*cking angry with players too, he gets all snarly, it's quite funny to watch..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

We need Kenny to come out in his press conference on Friday or Saturday and put the pressure on the refs.Originally posted by red g View Postthat cunt fergie knows exactly what he is doing. perfectly timed rant + livepool game on Sunday = red cards for us and pelanties for them.
Express it openly that he worries that comments by Fergie after Chavs's game could influence on the game outcome on Sunday and finish with something "It would not be the first time ManU got all the major decisions their way. I can see it happening again."Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club

Dont worry Kenny's also a master of the mind games, and the master of fergie.
I not lucky enough to have a ticket for this match, but can someone please smack gary neville if he's in the away end.
At the very least throw some 'brown potion' down on him from above!Last edited by magicalbarnes; 02-03-11, 02:49 PM.

I do worry about some of his decisions because you never quite know what's coming, but I do like the way he gets angry with the players, it makes a change from being the other way round.Originally posted by Neil Young View PostHa, yeah, 'idiosyncratic' is a good description. I know exactly what you mean, he seems far more perverse than most refs.
He often seems about to lamp someone.
