For virtually the whole of the first half, United's midfield dominated.

Didn't put much thought into the post, just looking at positives, but was based on the Chelsea midfielders getting all the plaudits for the performance and all the United fans complaining how **** their midfield was.

As I said, mine was an off the cuff remark, but are you sure 'dominated' is an accurate description for United, as it’s the first I’ve heard the like?

That's fine. I wasn't even gonna watch the game after the weekend as all football disturbs me after a loss but just had it on in the background while I was on laptop. Barely even looked up until Chelsea scored, so only really seen it from there then heard post match and You're on SP on in background.

Scholes and Carrick aren't the most mobile but when they're on the their game they can keep the ball for fun.
Lets hope the Liverpool midfield get on top. They'll certainly need to be alot better than last Sunday.
I'll be expecting a big performance from Gerrard in particular.

I sadly will just be hoping. Just don't know which Gerrard will turn up....he's certainly due a good performance

Well yeah i suppose he's been **** for nearly 2 years now but he can still produce the odd inspirational display.

Lets hope another one comes on Sunday.

He can be a useful little player but it's only Maxi FFS

I'm not Joe Cole's number one fan or anything, just the experience of him playing against United for about 10 years and his ability to produce a moment of magic gets him the nod.

I think we all have a life away from the forum man, but the daily 10 or 15 minute nosey through other LFC forums has to be done, get the lowdown

You have been Joe Coles biggest fan on here IMO and have been calling for his inclusion a lot lately. Fact ! I just don't see what you see. maxi has done much better in most peoples eyes on here apparently, but you prefer JC still. To each there own mate and I am not sensationalizing anything because it's you Marky I can assure you.

If not replace Carroll with Suarez up top and bring Maxi into the side.

as a 1st eleven, when you look at it, it's not a million miles away, if we can get 3 or 4 players to add some depth and quality in the summer!
