cheers for that, I just applied. saw flights to dublin from london are 48 return and the hotels looks reasonable priced.
I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06

Are you watching Manchester United? Are you watching Chelsea? This is Liverpool F.C taking over the bloody world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Back in 2003 I booked tickets, flights and hotel accommodation for the final in Seville.

We then got knocked out by Celtic, couldn't change hotel and flights so went for a couple of days on the piss.

Bottled it before heading out so sold my ticket for the final for 2.5 times the asking price. If I'd sold it on the day I'd have got 15 times the asking price.

Only time I've ever done anything like it.

I do, but i just realised i went abroad in 1999 or 2000 so i checked again it expired in 2009.
I've only been abroad twice and i wouldn't really call it a holiday.

I would be interested but I'm so broke at the moment that I can't even afford the £75 for the flights, then there's the accommodation for one day.
                Are we winning?

Surprised at the lack of interest.

Has anyone ever booked flights in anticipation of a final only for us to not get there? Is there anything you can do?
I'm living for it.I'll be in town for the day hopefully with a ticket in my sky rocket. If not it'll be great craic either way

I didn't know there were sea cats.
                        .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

                          There are sea dogs obviously.

I know there was a quicker ferry because I was on it. It might just run during the summer if it is still going at all.

Quicker option is Holyhead to Dublin Port or Dun Laoirghe, about 3 and a half hours on the slow boat. There's a fast boat on each crossing which is under 2hours. Easy to get to Holyhead by train from the UK.

On the Irish side, Dun Laoirghe is a suburb about 10 mile south of the city. It's got good public transport links, train and bus to the city. The berth at Dublin Port is nearly in Liverpool, its miles down the end of the port and has a really bad bus link, there are taxi's to get back to civilisation. Either of them would do any seafarers.

If anybody ends up with tickets and we don't make it to the final I'll gladly take them of their hands.
