    Fabio Aurelio

Really like the guy, very good player when fit but IMO its getting ridiculous at this stage. I feel sorry for the guy because it's not his fault, but him playing only a handful of games every season is doing us no good as a club thats needs progression.

In the summer IMO we should get rid of.

Reluctantly agree. In fact he should retire - who's going to sign him if we let him go? Too much of a risk.

His body clearly isn't up to it. Feel desperately sorry for him, he's a class player and seems a great lad too.

I'd hate it - really ****ing hate it - if we let him go, he moved somewhere else and kept himself fit all the time.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

fully agree with shaggy though he wont stay injury free if he carries on in football

i am also coming to the conclusion that agger is heading the same way.

a real shame as both players have a touch of class and when fit add a whole lot to our team.

the problem is, its not useful if they play so few games. Obviously agger plays more than Fab does but the principle is broadly similar

No need to have those type of worries. I wouldn't be surprised if he calls an early retirement.

        Sell in the summer.

He's a good player but ridiculously injury prone, he should retire, he can't get a run of games without picking up another injury. Unfortunately selling him is not an option as no-one would pay to sign him, he should just retire.

Strange thread. Looking forward to it becoming a determining factor in the club parting with him this summer.

It would be impossible to sell him.

                  This.

When he went down against the scum I genuinely felt sorry for the lad, but at the same time i can remember saying 'for ****s sake not again Fabio' and thats the point its gotten to, he's just to frequently injured, one of my favorite players in the current Liverpool squad, but just made of glass. He'd do well in Italy IMO, along with Aquilani.

There's probably little financial sense in paying him off for next year but we still need 2 left backs in the summer with Aurelio a fall back option with perhaps some coaching commitments!?

Sad really but if you can't play then you're not a footballer.

                        How about PFK?
                        .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Depressing throught but, with Kelly out so Johnson switching to right back, and Aurelio injured, could we be seeing PFK in a Liverpool shirt again this season

Edit: Just seen his loan is now til the end of the season, I was sure it was initially shorter than that. Let off there then

I really like Aurelio when fit but we can't afford to mess about with our back four every couple of weeks. I'd sell both him and Konchesky and offer Insua a new contract as well as bringing in either Taiwo or Coentrao.

Will be missed though, shame he couldn't stay fit.

Insua was absolute gash. Over-weight too.

I definitely don't want him back. Being raped week in week out.
