I know he's being paid a lot of money, but I still feel a bit sorry for him. I'm sure he's not being **** on purpose. I think he's lost it and I think he's the wrong age to get it back. I wish Joe Cole well wherever he ends up, but I don't think he's good enough for us and I don't want to see him playing for us again.

No way Spurs. West Ham if they stay up, maybe QPR if they come up. London anyway. And I'm sure he'll leave.Originally posted by Rudo View PostI'd be surprised if even Wheeler Dealer Harry would take Cole now.
Besides he wouldn't get a game for them, well unless they're planning on selling a few first teamers. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I don't think it's anything to do with money. He wasn't good enough; he probably thought he was when Purslow signed him. The only irony in the deal is that Yossi got himself injured and missed the whole season with Chelsea. Chelsea had the better deal all the way there had it not been for that. Are we winning?

So you won't be calling for his inclussion for a bit I take it? Maxi deserves his spot in the side based on his performances IMO whereas we all hoped Cole could reproduce something like his best form of years ago. Time to move on & cut him from the wage bill in the summer if we can get someone to take him off our handsOriginally posted by Rudo View PostThought Cole was poor.
I'm not his no1 fan, and never been. Always thought he was a tidy player like we all did and thought he'd be a good signing for us, like we all did(well most of us).
He's clearly lacking fitness and confidence.
Still showed some nice touches and bits of class but overall it wasn't good.Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Arn in English player hate shocker.
Haha, seriously speaking though he's been awful. I really hope we can get rid of him because I just don't see him coming right. What a nightmare of a signing. I can't help but think what people would be saying if we paid a fee for him. His contract is a fee in itself. And I'd love to hear what the media would say about him if he wasn't English.

I call bull****. He had class, no doubt about it, English or not. I used to hate seing his name on the team sheet before playing us. I always thought he was so dangerous with goals and assists. Even in the pre season games with us this season he was linking up so well and thought he was gonna be the ****. He was a realy good player, even the likes of SG said he was gonna be a key player for us! I think the hype was well justified.Originally posted by cream View PostMaybe he never had it in him. Another product of English hype.
But WTF went so wrong? Sooooo wrong! He was ****ing ****e tonight. So frustrating how bad he was. Maybe he didnt have enough support or whatever-maybe he just had a shocker? I know he was injured and all but he's had time now, tonight was his chance and he shat all over it... He simply cant start next Thur. Too much of a risk.
Sorry for ****ting on a bit... im just bull thick over the performance really!

I'm so excited. And I just cant hide it. I'm about to loose control and I think I like it.

It would be appreciated btw if people could lay off the more personal sort of abusive comments at least about him, by no means have his performances since he signed been even remotely good enough but as long as he's a Liverpool player we could at least show the most basic level of respect / support and avoid direct insults eh? Calling his performance **** is pretty justified really, but calling him a ****house (for example) is a little distasteful imo.Last edited by MrMichael; 11-03-11, 04:38 AM.I could not dig, I dared not rob:

He's been poor, very poor, I think he's lost it as he just doesn't seem able to make any impact on games. Whether this is due to injuries and a lack for fitness, and he will get it back given time, I don't know, personally I doubt it.The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I have to say I fully agreeOriginally posted by cream View PostMaybe he never had it in him. Another product of English hype.
Have always thought he was vastly overratedBob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

It's simple common decency..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.
