Isn't Spearing one of our promising reserve players
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

sorry mate but theres no point in playing any of the reserves without someone to give them the ball. you need a strong team capable of dominating possession so that the lads dont have too much to do.

coady doesnt want to be constantly running back towards his own goal being pressurisedby opposition players. he'll only make mistakes thats why we need to bring in lads slowly and into a team with strong players alongside them. they need nurturing not chucking into the frying pan.

can you imagine asking coady to clear up poulsens mistakes ?

First season I know, but goals aside I don't see what the hype is.

Not saying he's ****e, but for me he's pretty average plus some goals.
im glad someone else has seen this because I genuinely thought i was the only one who thinks he's pants.

when he turned up he proclaimed that he wasnt mascherano - well no **** sherlock, he's not even as good as lucas never mind mascherano. He bottles every tackle ive ever seen him go into and what makes it worse is that he has those kick ass tats.

One thing is to look like a pansy but to look like a sas nazi death machine and play like a ****ing choir boy takes the biscuit.

His passing is poor and he struggles finding the range with anything over 10 yards. when he has the ball he doesnt use it well.

In his favour he does have a good engine but when you do most of your running unopposed and without the ball you're not exactly going to be knackered. Its like going for a quick jog but nothing thats going to take your breath away.

I thought he was a waste of £11m when we signed him and unfortunately his goals apart he's been poor. Seriously i think Kenny plays him where he does because he cant use him anywhere else.

I've been hammering on about it since he's joined dude - Got slated for it too.

Simply has to improve the dirty work part of the game, it's really not good enough and there's nothing worse than a player who chickens out of tackles and only seems to come alive when the ball's in the attacking third.

As you say, it's all well and good scoring a few goals but as a midfield player you need to do much more. The goals he's scored are covering over the cracks so to speak.

In conclusion, i've been impressed and encouraged by Meireles's upturn in form but still to be convinced he's the real deal.

Just showed the Braga goal again on LFC TV there and surprise surprise Johnson played a part in us conceding the Penno.

Received the ball well into Braga's half, thought he was Lionel Messi and tried to take on the Braga defender who obviously takes the ball off him and starts a Braga counter-attack...our left back is nowhere to be seen meaning big Soto has to come across and admittedly gives away a needless penalty.

The sooner we get Glen Johnson out of the Liverpool defence the better, liability plain and simple.

apart from first few games he played for us, he did nothing ... his level is for mid-table team, unfortunately

He was asked to provide an offensive support. When he went forward we should have had a player behind to provide the overlap.

If you gonna blame someone blame Poulsen who allowed (zonal defense) the passer to get the ball to the forward and Skrtel who once again was caught out in no man's land.

Not blaming him solely, but he played a part in conceding the penalty as he lost the ball in their half and with Braga being a good counter-attacking side, they exploited the space left behind by Johnson and Soto brought the Braga man down.

When given the ball in their half, the sensible thing for Johnson to do was play it simple and get himself back into position...but as usual he ****ed it up.

First you said it wasn't his fault alone and then again you finished your post with putting the entire blame on his shoulders.

Sure he had a part in it but pretty much our entire left side including Cole (he was back) failed.

How am i putting the entire blame on his shoulders saying he should have passed to a team-mate instead of trying to take a Braga player on

I haven't enjoyed a single European game this season, we've been pretty crap in all of them just doing enough to scrape through.

At the level we've been playing in this competition it would make a mockery of it if we somehow managed to win it.

We need to really up our game and show that we can play exciting football if we want to earn this cup otherwise lets just end the nightmare next week so I don't need to prop my eyes open with matchsticks to watch this boring ****.

I'll be completely pissed off if we scrape through next week, either win convincingly or don't bother.
