    Anfield Vs Old Trafford

Accoring to Claude Puel (Lyon Manager)

"Old Trafford is a beautiful stadium when there's full attendance but it's not the same atmosphere as in Anfield. Anfield has a stunning atmosphere that I will remember... The particularity of Old Trafford is that they've got a small fitting rooms for visitors and they didn't make any efforts to make it bigger - it's funny for a club like ManU"

I've always thought that tiny away team changing room think was a cheap, nasty little tactic. Perfectly befitting of a team lack class like Man Utd.

Arsenal do all sorts of "tricks" with theirs.

Can't beat Anfield for atmosphere on big European nights, it is just electric.

When I went on the Anfield tour (years ago) we went into the changing rooms. The floor surface in the away changing room was polished tiles - very slippery for studs. In comparison the home dressing room had a gripped floor, possibly rubber matting IIRC.

The fella doing the tour when I went there said the same thing.
                  Are we winning?

It's the exact opposite of what I thought we used to employ. A functional dressing room for our lot, small in size to foster togetherness, and an overly spacious luxurious dressing room for visitors to make them feel overawed; this is Anfield etc

Supposedly the door frame leading out of the home sides dressing room is smaller than the away teams to make our players seem bigger.....

Is it the riverside that has the L shaped dressing room, to make the players have to stand up etc

The only option is to expand Anfield. FSG will make it happen.

That's what I remember from the tour.

No comparison . That ****hole has the atmosphere of a car park - unless we are there of course.
