cole and maxi are past it, they need to be shipped on a waste of massive wages.

Speating and N'gog will never be good enough, although the later might be a decent squad player.

and wtf happened to Jovanovic? is he completely in the cold?

We definitely needed to go 4231/433/451 with Raul higher up the pitch. Out of the available players Spearing should have been on from the start.

For gods sake lad, two of those players didn't look good enough in the under 18's cup. Have a word with yourself and think.

That was my main gripe! Spearing is ****!
Someone commented that cole is being played as he is english... I think same for Spearing can be said.

If you'd like to elaborate, i'll try to answer. Do you think Kuyt and Carra played well, or that Johnson and Carroll didn't try?

Interesting on how opinions changed after the game. When the line up was announced many commented how they liked the attacking formation etc and now Kenny got tactics wrong..

Let's face it. He is not a miracle worker. We have a ****ty squad and he cannot turn turd into gold. As simple as that.

There were players other than Carragher who totally hid today

I'm talking about Cole, Maxi, Meireles & Johnson

I'm not talking about not tackling, I'm talking about taking responsibility when in possession. There were times today when those 4 players got into positions and instead of carrying the ball forward or attempting to take players on they stopped, checked back and played the ball backwards

                      Thats ****ing criminal

Yes long term Carragher is past it and his days are numbered but to me today there were other players who needed to stand up and be counted and didnt

For a second I thought that Arn was going being positive about an English player, then I realised Sterling is from Jamrock.
I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06

Are you watching Manchester United? Are you watching Chelsea? This is Liverpool F.C taking over the bloody world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you really believe in your own insanities? Suso was **** five days ago in an u18's match and Sterling is a toothpick.

this has more to do with the combined lack of talent and depth in the squad seasoned with a lack of passion and will from most players.

Been saying it since he signed, Meireles is not good when involved in the midfield battle, he "needs" to be played higher up the pitch utilizing his strengths his runs and shooting. He is for the want of a better word, a bit of a pussy. Once he is kept away from the rough and tumble he is great.
