About 100 miles, so about a couple of hours driveOriginally posted by Rudo View PostIs it a long journey from Liverpool to the West Midlands? I agree it seems unlikely but I tend to think that players coming back are more effective coming on against tired players. Also given that a higher percentage of goals go in during the last 15 minutes of a game than any other time it has to be the time a player is most likely to get his first goal.Originally posted by Mostar View PostTBH somehow I cannot see Kenny doing that."The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."

What time is kick off?.
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

Kenny Dalglish insists Roy Hodgson will have nothing to prove when Liverpool return to Barclays Premier League duty at West Brom this weekend.
The Reds lock horns with their former boss for the first time since they parted company back in January and Dalglish is adamant their focus will be on the two teams in question - and not Hodgson.
"Roy hasn't got anything to prove to anybody," Dalglish told his pre-match press conference.
"If you say he has extra motivation then you are doubting the man's integrity and implying he never had enough motivation before. It's Liverpool versus West Brom and we'll face a team that has been prepared by Roy. I don't have a problem with that. It'll be nice to see him again."
He added: "West Brom were tough to beat here when Roberto (Di Matteo) was in charge. They played very well here. We won 1-0 but it was a very difficult game.
"Roy brings his own management style to the club and they have done well since he went in here. We are looking forward to the game and it will be nice to see Roy again.
"I have great respect for him as I said when I came in here and that isn't going to change now that we are playing against each other.
"So for me, the game is about Liverpool against West Brom and that's the way I'll go into it. I'll see an old friend of mine standing in the opposite dugout.
"Everyone knows he's a coach so we know what to expect. We know how they will play so it's up to us to be better than them on the day."
The Reds head into the clash with the Baggies buoyed by the news that Lucas Leiva has committed his future to the club.
Dalglish revealed his delight over the Brazilian's decision to remain at Anfield in an exclusive interview with this website on Wednesday afternoon, but was quick to reiterate his pleasure to the general press.
"It's a reward for everything he's done for the club," said Dalglish.
"He's had a good season and done well since I came in and got what he deserves. I'm delighted for him. "He's got himself in the Brazil team as a permanent fixture.
"He's just had a baby boy too so he'll be very happy right now, as are we."
Dalglish was also asked about comments made my Managing Director Ian Ayre regarding naming rights for a potential new stadium.
He added: "It's yet to be decided what they are going to do.
"For me - being a traditionalist - Anfield is a fantastic ground with fantastic memories. But unless you can get it up to the capacity that they want then we might have to move somewhere else.
"A new ground would have its own interesting points. There would be more people there, Liverpool would still be playing there and it would have the same romance to it. It'll still be a fantastic stadium with fantastic support, so once they decide what they want to do we'll know what is going to happen.
"But renaming a new stadium is something people do anyway. You don't get many old stadiums renamed so I don't think they'd do it with Anfield."Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Comments from Kenny almost feel like there is a lean towards a new stadium especially alongside Ayres coming out saying we're actively looking for a potential sponsor for naming rights.
