there's just too many issues since both johnson and agger went off.

neither fullback in carra nor wilson are willing to go forward in any meaningful way. the midfield players arent capable of playing a truly incisive pass on the floor or up in the air and its all in front of the opposition. ive yet to see west brom turned towards their own goal.

the wide areas are always the same so whats the point in bitchin about the lack of product from the wide midfield players kuyt and meireles.

Carroll and suarez need support, they cant face 4 defenders and 2 central midfielders by themselves.

we dont have enough pace in the team especially going forward. its all pedestrian and measured passes to feet. ****ing hell i wish we had ryan babel on the left or right to make up some yards down each flank.

Midfield doesn't exist today. Carroll and Suarez need to get to edge of our box to receive the ball.

Very worried about this game. WBA controlled the possessions and it looked it is only a matter of time before they score.

I am not sure what to expect in the second half but so far we were awful.

Carroll needs to be careful as that ass Atkinson seems to be very keen on sending him off.

Injuries to the only two defenders we have who can acutally play football has really stiffled us. Could continue to be a problem until they return.

We're hoofing the ball too much as well. Carroll is an easy target we should ****ing stop lumping the ball at him, which makes it more difficult for him as he's been roughed up. Spearing is not good enough, brings absolutely nothing in the middle of the park.

Barely had any touches. He did have one very good run straight down the pitch but his final pass to Carroll was poor.

Early on he was, but after that he's been isolated along with Carroll and we're not getting any service to them whatsoever.

Meireles and Kuyt are the most likely to provide them with the service but both have been very poor, esp Meireles.

I really can't see us ending this game with 11 players on the pitch.Atkinson looks very keen with his cards.

They haven't helped matters but imo our problems in this game go beyond pointing to the injuries to Johnson & Agger.

Lack of depth is nothing new but I wouldn't put too much blame on J (earth from being biggest fan).

Nobody impressed in midfield in the first half. What did Raul do?
