    Jon Flanagan

Excellent game by him. Very solid defensively and better and better attacking. He showed that we wouldn't have a problem playing our youngsters if we need them.

Superb performance all things considered. Loved how he bossed Balotelli a couple of times.

we should play him. his resemblance to the european cup would be a timely reminder to some of our players.

Solid game from him,he was impressive, I'd certainly give him a few more games between now and the end of the season.

I was suprised that City didn't really try and pressure him a bit more though, but you can only beat what's put in front of you and he did that tonight.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

The old production line may not be dead afterall. Well done son, lets hope he doesnt disappear once Johnson and Kelly are fit.

                    Very good.

Looked a little indecisive at times but that's to be expected.

Pleased for the lad, very solid debut.

Obviously we need to be careful not to rely on him too much at the moment, but if we can ease him in slowly then early signs looks promising.

Sort of reminded me of Finnan tonight. And if we can find another Finnan from our Academy then that'll do for me.

As good a debut for a defender as I can remember, thought he was excellent.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

What an absolutely fantastic debut. I've seen a fair bit of him at the two lower levels and that's the best I've seen him play. Use of the ball tremendous, some crunching tackles, seemed to be aware of danger and got forward a bit too. kin brilliant Flanno la!
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
