flanagans doing well but he's not the answer to the left back position. but he's shown that he;s got something to offer though.

      He's the new Philipp Lahm.

Any news on whether he'll be ready for this afternoon? I've been wrong about him, he's proving to be an excellent fit in the system and would be a real loss if he's unfit to play

He's quality. Good on the ball, hardly ever makes any rash decisions. Beastly!

I thought Flanagan was a disaster of a fullback and I cringed when I saw him back in the team against Arsenal but he's been absolutely superb, what a turn around from the lad I've never been so happy to be proved wrong.

                        Excellent again tonight.

If he carries on his recent form then dare I say he's good enough to be our first choice RB when Johnson goes. Could be our new Finnan.

Yes, never thought he'd make it but he's just stepped right up this season. Have him over that headless chicken Enrique any day.

Often we have 15-20 pass moves, moving the opposition out of position just for Enrique to play that long inside left ball which 90% of the time squanders the good possession we have built or a go on an aimless dribble into a crowd of players. Flanagan on the other hand plays it simple and moves to receive another pass. The third goal against Cardiff being a good example.
                              A very good post!

Looking good for Flanno, Sterling, Wisdom and Suso. It's been a while since we had one of ours come through, so good to see the youngsters well.
