Don't think he should have had a yellow in the first place. Challenged for the ball, didn't do anything malicious.

a little too rash, passionate but lacking a little guile and experience. he will learn and be great for us.

prob was harsh but it was something like his 4th foul thats why he got it.

Yeah, a couple of really rash challenges that would normally have seen a second yellow at Old Toilet. But apart from that he did really well.

He seemed to support better down the left for some reason. Felt he was a bit exposed a couple of times first half, but the Mancs were crap with it, and second half we defended as well as any Rafa or Houllier team.
In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

I'd have taken him off early in the second half,he was sailing close to the wind but he held it together thankfully. He'll continue to grow from this performance.

What was 'really rash' bar his second foul which was a bit cynical and was lucky not to get booked?

What's times bar the 42nd minute or so when he went to close the ball but it was played past him?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

flanno's defending improved when he had sterling in front of him, both chasing down the attacker and the loose ball.

he defo seems better on the left.

He absolutely dominated the 'boy wonder' today. And he's definitely a better player at left back rather than right back.

He was excellent, soft yellow card but he didn't let that change his brilliant aggressive defensive work.

Improved so much this season it's almost unbelievable

He is a proper full back... If he keeps this level up Woy would be stupid to over look him for a england call up. Excellent again yesterday, between him and gerrard for man of the match me.
