He should be England's back-up right back for now...until he becomes first choice. He's miles better than Kyle Walker.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I don't know any Spurs fans who rate Walker at all, He is a poor mans Glen Johnson.

Incredible how much he has improved. And the confidence he does possess! You just know that lad is fearless - his yellow card didn't put him off one bit yesterday; and he was on a final warning as well.
          Are we winning?

I hate to say it, but he could be our Neville. Not overly spectacular, but steady and reliable.

He has been superb this season and exceeded everyone's expectations.

He's basically replicating his debut performance against City that amazed us all. Immense composure on the ball and tough-as-**** tackling. I don't know what his contract situation is but it's past the "prospect" stage now IMO, he's in this squad to stay.

He is not the only one.

Really thought he was going to be a League 1 player, Championship at a push. Staggered at his improvement. Again, a lot of the credit has to go to Rodgers, he gets players believing in themselves and excelling. To have another real Scouser in the team is a huge bonus too.

Said that myself after the match. Also, his wee drop off the shoulder leaving the pressing player for dead is becoming as common as a Suarez nutmeg.

                      He’s great.

It was fairly easy for him against Mata - I don't know if anyone has told Moyesy Football Genius, but Mata isn't a winger. He had his work cut out against Januzaj though - it reminded me a little of the fabled Giggs v Rob Jones battle (though not as spectacular)

He's doing really well though - he's a prime recipient of Brendan's coaching. All you have to do is point to his improvement as an indicator of how good Rodgers is.

                        Flanno and Brenno

It's a tough one with Flanno. He's definitely good enough for the squad, but will he ever get to the point of being labeled a first team player that we are happy with in a starting XI? I think he has until the end of the season to convince.

And I'm not sure he's much better at LB, but it does suit the team because Glen is miles better at RB than he is LB.

In a way Flanno reminds me of Carra in his younger years as a full back. Good at defending, limited going forward and not particularly fast. Think the only difference is Flanno is slightly more mobile and has a bit more attacking instinct in him, where as Carra was tall and strong at Full back. Carra has said many times that managers were always looking to replace him and improve upon him, every time he stepped up and won his place in the side. Flanno will have similar fights ahead of him IMO.

Well, Brendan might take him to Barcelona with him.

I definately thinks he has longer to convince. He's only 21, has already performed well in big matches, has improved and can play on both sides of defense. Everything points in the right direction, and even with a drop in form BR will give him chances.
But I can see the the Carra comparison, hopefully he'll get the PL title Carra is missing.

im much happier with our full backs being more solid defensively first and foremost. a full back who is often caught out too far up the pitch, chasing to get back and giving away fouls/getting cards is a major liability.

flanno might never become the lad who blitzes down the line and makes killer crosses but he will make valid attacking contributions but so long as he does this without exposing the rest of the defence then its all good. how often have we seen agger/skrtel have to come across and cover for cissoko or enrique and leave space for another attacker to exploit...

his progress means we dont urgently need a left back and we might be better placed buying a hard working left sided winger similar to how sterling works the right hand side of the pitch, great going forward but also will track back and double up with the full back.

a couple of times sterling came back to help flanno tag team jizjaz and left him chasing shadows
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.
