Boy can tackle. Not just the Soldado one, he crunched a fair few in yesterday. They're not rash or ill judged either, they're emphatic and winning. Go on John Flanagan. Got to love an underdog.

That tackle on Soldado should send him whimpering back to Spain. "So long" from the Premier League.

"Spanish international? John Flanagan. Pleased to meet you"

I love the way he's so unintimidated by who he's going in for. He seems to really relish a tussle. Brendan has these lads pumped up thinking they're kings, doesn't he?

Loving this team. Its probably my favourite team since Kenny's title winners.

I love a good crunching tackle but I fear that Maureen's players will be instructed to produce the histrionics whenever Flanno goes near them with the aim of getting him sent off (even though thank ****, Robben no longer plays for them).

there is feeling some contact and going down like you have been smashed by a runaway truck [usual chav tictacs] and then the fear of actually been hit by a runaway truck called flanagan and smashing then into a trillion pieces and then deciding to hurdle the incoming tackle.
i think having seen the way soldado was smashed they might be considering the later option.

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

I love those bone-crunching tackles of Flanno's but I fear he'll mistime one one day and get sent off and/or maim the poor fella on the end of it.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

He's been close to a second yellow a couple of times. He's still learning his trade though and I'm sure he'll learn to pick his moments.

                              Same here.

I'm also worried that he'll seriously hurt himself or the other player in the process but if you tweak that part of his game too much he may lose his confidence and become far less effective.

Hopefully time and experience will resolve that issue.

Looks like he will be directly up against Stewie on Sunday. A nice early hello will be the end of Downing's contribution to the game!
