What's people opinion on Flanno as a first choice next season?

Personally i think he has exceeded expectation this season and has done very well but we need that extra bit more quality. Will make a good squad player IMO, commited & reliable

I would assume that we are looking to sign at least one full back in the summer, so I suspect he will be back up, but he could be the back up option at both RB and LB, so is still likely to get a decent amount of game time.

i think what happens about our left back will depend on what happens with johnson at RB. if glen goes then maybe the need to buy a RB and this will mean flanagan will be left at LB.

I think we have a number of players who can play RB: Johnson, Flanagan, Wisdom, Kelly and Ilori, now I suspect one or two won't be here next year as they will be sold or loaned. LB we have much fewer options: Enrique, Flanagan and Robinson, of those he is IMO the best option, even if we sign a LB I imagine he will get a decent amount of game time there.

All the reports have us linked with a left back, and, although I'm not sure whether Rodgers will keep Enrique, transfer links have suggested we'll only target one left back.

Should be moved to RB and buy a new LB. Sell Johnson to release wages to put against a good LB. He doesnt justify his wage and has been inconsistent now for well over a season. Will be disappointed if he is still starting at Rb next season

Flanagan, more than any other player, probably shows Johnson and Enrique up the most on a value for money basis. The owners are bound to be on to that - the fact that he can outperform Johnson as a full back consistently can't be good for Glen.

Can't see him being a first choice yet, unless he makes another jump forward in ability. He's way beyond expectations though.

Flanno is superb and if he was at Southampton then all the big clubs would be sniffing a la Shaw
