He's no Cafu.....

But it's a shame he couldn't start the season as this team needed stability at the start, not 3 new members of the back 4.

As said above, he's also full of aggression and takes no prisoners. A tackle on Soldado last year was memorable. And a performance at Goodison v Everton is right up there. Needs to improve, but he has something that can't be taught, fighting spirit.

I thought the same, but in fairness he had a cracking six months last season and was levels above Aly. I was hoping we'd see if he could kick on at the start of this campaign. I'm really getting a feeling that our season is going to take off pretty damn soon. Hopefully this lad can contribute. If he does prove himself good enough I'd be delighted.

I really wasn't impressed with him, he had a few decent games, nothing more though.
