Agreed re the technically limited stuff. Sure, he's never gonna Cruyff turn his way up the pitch like Lallana, but he is good on the ball and as Daffy says, really composed in possession.

In a 343, Flanno isn't good enough.

He's more of a defender type full back, as opposed to an attacking one. Too small to play as one of the 3 CB's. too limited to play a wing back role.

I'm of course not sure we will stick with a 343.

He's very comfortable on the ball. He could play the wing back on either side. Granted 4 at the back would be his preferred position. Good to have options.
