Jon Flanagan made his comeback from long-term injury with an appearance for Liverpool Under-21s in a friendly against Fleetwood at the Kirkby Academy.
The full-back looked composed and assured as he got 30 minutes under his belt before being substituted off as planned. The game finished 0-0.
Having signed a new one-year deal back in May, Flanagan will be determined to use the coming months to prove he merits a longer contract. He is free to negotiate with non-English clubs as of January 1Comment

This says he's available. No idea if it's reliable.

Flanno played first 45 of U21 currently 2-0 to Liverpool v Morecambe. Tricky-Smith and Sam Hart with the goals. The Scouse Cafu had an effort scrambled off the line.
