    Birmingham (H) Build up

The Arsenal game should have given us great confidence, the manner in which we got a result. The young players that came in have done well, but we have injury concerns does anyone know who will be available for the game?

All the games from here on in are must win games if we're to have any hope of European football. I'm actually looking forward to us playing, at the moment the games can't come fast enough.

Team-wise I'd guess Aurelio will be out so our fullbacks will be Flanagan and Robinson. Due to the nature of the injury you might expect Carragher to miss the game, but he's tough and will probably want to play, will he be involved? Aside from those two changes I'd guess we'll go with the same team.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

    I reckon Carragher will start.

Would like to see Cole given a start at the expense of Meireles who has been poor in recent weeks(aside from the City game perhaps).

Not sure where I heard (maybe SS this morning) but Carra is fit to play but Carroll very unlikely.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I'm sure I read that if a player has been knocked out then they aren't allowed to play for two weeks? That would rule Carragher out if true.

As in a PL ruling or medical advice?

I can't imagine there being any strick ruling one way or another.

I had heard that for a concussion you are not supposed to play sport for 2-3 weeks, but that's medical advise. I don't know if there is anything in the rules, it's probably best not to go against such advice but I guess it's up to the club doctor to decide if he should be considered for the game.

Yeah it's probably advice rather than a ruling. Can't remember where I read it. It may have even been on here. In which case it was more than likely bollocks

Someone mentioned that the 2 week thing is a rule in rugby. But i think rugby is ****, and therefore dont follow it - so i couldnt verify whether that rule does exist in rugby or not.

Will Jack Robinson and Flanagan both be starting? Personally id love to see Robinson get a full game. Should be interesting. Expect us to build on that home record and put Birmingham on the back foot straight away. They can be a tough team to break down though.

Yes, I expect both Flanagan and Robinson to start on Sat.

                          Change the record Rudo .

Let's replace a bloke who has been poor for a couple of games and bring in someone who has been poor all season long
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Play like we did against City and we'll win no problems. Play like we did against West Ham/Brom and we'll have problems.

Tempo needs to be on through to the finish. Can't blame performances on midweek games now.
                              Forwards.......
