No that's all fine mate. But seriously, football is nothing like any 'normal' job like we have. There really isnt a comparison to be made and i think you know that, deep downOriginally posted by pezzzer View Postwell if your a skilled worker then whats the difference, can i kick a football any worse than joe can cut hair

You mentioned about being sacked if you went to work and said you couldnt perform because you lacked confidence (for a start Cole hasnt said that) but anyway, clearly a football club isnt going to sack someone for that. Secondly, there's a bit of a difference in terms of what you do - confidence is paramount in football, but i doubt it's as influential in your work.
Also, i very much doubt you work with the pressures of knowing that what you do can have an impact to the tune of millions of pounds, and can affect how millions of people worldwide feel, whether they have a good weekend or not etc. And i very much doubt you have 45000 people watching you at work, screaming, cheering, singing and expressing passion at what you're producing.
You probably also dont have to work in the media spotlight, with every move you make scrutinised by the press and without needing to watch what you're doing on a night out etc.
I cant believe i needed to explain all that to you
But clearly there's a ****ing world of difference between being a footballer and having a 'normal' job. You cant even begin to compare them.

fair point mate but i, you and pretty much everyone else doesnt get paid 90,000 a week to cope with such presures.Originally posted by Craig_H View PostThink you're missing the point mate.

i understand that there on show infront of all the fans and media but the point i was making was that joe managed it well enough at chelsea so the fact he cant here is up for debate but sometimes things dont work out.
