We were poor today, and beaten by spurs who were better. To some people, saying this is seen as suggesting Kenny's an idiot and the sky's falling in. Some people try to analyse hiw the game went and others resort to 'you're not a supporter' unless you fill the post match thread with generalities about how great everything is. There's no room across so many forums and threads for both apparently.

You could argue he was working his way back to fitness hit form against City and then got injured the following game

He comes back for his first start for a month and people are writing him off its ****ing laughable
      Calm down sweetie.

Nowhere have i written him off, just stated my opinion.

It never ceases to amaze me how wound up so folk get on here when some posts something they don't agree with.

He stated the player should have hit the ground running - yep just like Torres

Fact is the lad has been injured and probably has more of an excuse than the even more expensive Torres

Frankly even had he stayed fit I think I'd air on the side of caution lets see what hes capable of after a pre-season
Oh right. I read 'people' as being a general point rather than aimed directly at that poster.

it doesn't matter that he didn't set his price tag, we paid £35 million for him, so he needs to be a player of that standard to be a good buy... he isn't and in my opinion never will be.

I didn't rate him as a Liverpool player at Newcastle and and have seen nothing from him to change that opinion. When you factor in how much worse we seem to play when he's on the pitch, i don't want him anywhere near our first 11.

          Pretty simple really.

embarrassing way to end the home campaign. Its a shame for Kenny. But I did think, weather is awful, looks gloomy. Could be a depressing day

"Sweetie" I think you should stop quoting River Song from Doctor Who

Its not so much disagreeing with you but you have stated things that arent even factually correct (in terms of his games played)

So at least when you are looking at voicing an opinion try and use some factual content somewhere along the lines

Quoting who? Don't really watch kids TV so im not sure who you're talking about.

I'm going to step out now. In the heat of the moment and all that, have better things to do with my time than argue on here.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

I defo think we need one top centre mid player though. That's a must.

Them other positions certainly need strengthening, i'm sure everyone would agree.
Wouldn't particularly want us to sign for both centre mids unless someone was off. Though even if we did, I think it would be reasonably balanced for a 4-3-3 if you consider Gerrard would do nicely as one of the wide forwards.

As much as people are crying out for wide players, I think people underestimate the weakness in our spine. We need a bare minimum of one top player added to it before we worry about the flanks.
