I don't think it was just Hodgson, but he clearly didn't fit Liverpool FC.

We'll see how good Liverpool are next season. It's safe to say we all expect Top 4 minimum with no excuses of playing in Europe. But it will be a tough job as the top 5 this season will still be tough sides to come above next year.

We need to sign some really good players, and as it stands, the truth is that if our rivals sign better players than us they will still have better squads. So Comolli and Dalglish have a truly massive job on.
    Forwards.......

Were on the up,Europa would have been a hindrance on our progression.I'm very satisfied, although any defeat hurts......I'm masking that by looking at the bigger picture and the positivety that is King Kenny.......We wil be very competitive next year,of this I am very confident.

we did Villa, Blackpool, west Brom and West Ham.

Even so Kenny performed brilliantly since he took over.

Thanks for the clarification. I didn't remember the West Ham defeat.

So we lost 9 points to teams that were relegated.

Well it mostly was the Hodgson effect - he's the guy whose ****ing hallmark is not winning away. So it's no coincidence.

So stating a fact is attention seeking? Get a grip.

urghhh - didn't think of it like that yup 9 points away from home plus losing at home to Blackpool and drawing away to Birmingham as well.

oh well seasons over and I expect next season to be far better than this one.

No excuses now for if we get knocked out of the Carling/FA cup by mediocre teams. I hope they start taking things seriously now. Feel sorry for Suarez now I'm sure he'd much of rather stayed with Ajax especially given they won the title.

I'd get Hodgson back - with the financial backing of new owners and the whole summer to look for some decent signings I think Roy could make some brilliant additions to the squad. People were criticising some of Roy's signings last year but he was on a tight budget.

With a full and frank public apology to Roy I'm sure he'll seriously consider coming back. Always thought it was harsh that Roy got 99.9% of blame for our ****e performances under him yet the players got away almost scot-free despite playing worse than pub players.

You forgot getting rid of Gerrard because he's practically a pensioner and can't kick a ball anymore!

I thought that was part of the job criteria in order to be a Roy player
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

Blackpool was about 3 days since he landed at the airport. WHU was ****e after the Europa ****ing chore and WBA was just referee robbery. Today was clearly last day syndrome and i honestly believe most of the players will have preferred not finishing 5th.

Anyone using those 4 defeats against Kenny is being daft. Or attention seeking.

What I found absolutely fascinating is that his latest smarmy wind-up remark made use of a statistic that supported the position of the person he was baiting. You can't invent that level of dullardry. Thankfully for all our entertainment, Rudo doesn't need to.

Oh please. I can give you the Blackpool game but the rest well one way or the other we didn't cut it.

No one is using it against Kenny but we haven't been as good as we'd want to be away from home even under Kenny.

There's still time for improvement tho'. A couple of good players can help improve the away form.

I thought we were awful at West Brom. Absolutely dire. However, that pales in comparison to how bad we were at West Ham. Course, injuries in that game didn't help.

However, see Wolves and Blackpool at home and the y suddenly become acceptable results
