Right, might b a bit off here but.......

Considering how **** we were against 'arry's lot and the lacklustre villa, and taking into consideration that we were absolutely flying and scoring for fun, does anyone think that kenny threw them?

I can see kenny sitting down with the owners and saying he needs to rebuild without the added **** of the eurodisney?????

I had considered the exact same thing myself and would not discard the possibility

I think he didn't care if we lost, and prob ketvthevteam know. Although we could gave just registered out kids/reserves as the euro squad and given them playing time and big game (ish) experience

I suppose if he really wanted to throw it he would have started with Poulsen instead of him being on the bench.

But how do you explain Joe Cole then ?

i think the press release from kenny after he was confirmed boss where he said that he hoped the fans would judge the players from january until now "no matter what happens in the last two games" was a big give away on his thinking on the europa league

Weren't we still in with a shout for the CL if we beat Spurs? If so then the only game he maybe threw would've been Villa.
"That's how I found myself on the Kop that day I had my blue-and-white scarf safely tucked away inside my coat as I listened to Liverpool songs and swayed with the masses.

Then City scored and I screeched and this big bloke, a Liverpool supporter, made towards me and I thought he was going to throttle me. But he just pulled my scarf from under my coat so it lay on the outside, and said: "You should always be proud of your colours, lad."

I dont think we threw the Spurs game, we were trying and giving everything, just Howard Webb's idiocy cost us and we lacked the guile to carve out chances.

Villa away, i doubt we were that fussed really.

Apart from the fact that I don't believe it's in KK's nature not to want to win games, the Europa league would have provided extra playing time for the youngsters coming through.

I really can't see that this suggestion has much depth of probability.

I don't think he threw the games but some players simply wasn't interested in playing in the EL again.

They didn't give 100% out there in the last two games.
