There once was a man from Nantucket
Whose dick was so long he could suckit
    He said,with a grin
As he wiped off his chin
If my ear was a cunt I would **** it!

its been a while but shevchenkos miss and everybody going ballistic. is something that i just wont forget. i remember jumping up like a loon and just completely losing it. i went so crazy that i started ****ing recording sky sports news on my phone. ive got 32mb of me recording my old tv with ssn and kelly dalglish all over it. what a spastic.

i still dont know why i did it but as i said it was one crazy day. i have that top despite my wifes best efforts to ruin it in the ****ing dryer.

just brings back so many emotions and after these two seasons of **** i promise i will never take champions league football for granted again.

                So...it was half-time now. 0-3

I said to a bloke, a stranger, at half-time "I'd take 4-0, just so long as it's not an absolute cricket score".

I genuinely feared a serious drubbing.

I was thinking exactly the same Shaggy, TBH, i went out into the kitchen and cried a bit... I was never so deflated..

My mum had a packet of Rich Tea biccies at my side in '78, another again in 81, then again in 84.....

i told my wife to buy me a packet for the match that night, (even though i hate them) to continue the tradition - she forgot...

It was nearly DIVORCE at HT, i blamed the 3-0 on her

she still keeps me going about that !!

I remember it quite vividly, i was actually on holiday in spain - i'd booked it the previous October and i dont book holidays during the season, but the only thing left by that date was the CL final and i never even entertained the thought that we might get there

I managed to find a Scouse-run bar in Spain So i went down there fairly early, to ensure i got a good seat and because i was going to have dinner there. So after ordering the food, i just ordered a soft drink and the woman in the bar questioned why i wasnt on the booze - so i explained that i dont like drinking while i'm watching football, because i prefer to be able to concentrate on the game properly.

By HT, we're 3-0 down and suicidal - and the same woman comes round collecting glasses - and without a hint of tact, she bellows "Oh well, at least you can have a drink now the game's over!" - obviously wanted to headbutt her

By the end it was just surreal - but i do remember one guy, the world's biggest optimist or the world's biggest nutter, i dont know - but decked out in LFC Red, all the way through the first half, even at 3-0 down, he insisted and maintained "we're gonna win this, we're still gonna win" - i dont know where he got it from and he was met by the usual "yeah right mate, good on you..."

By jove though, he was right

I was working in Vancouer and the game was at lunchtime. Me and the two other English guys in the office took a 4 hour lunch break and went to the nearest sports bar for the game. It was rammed with reds and a brilliant atmosphere. Evening celebrations and reruns of the game with random reds in downtown VC was awesome. Canadian reds

I'd better not let the wife and kids see me type this

Games on LFC TV now, in full, in case you're not already watching the DVD.

                                22 minutes gone, 1-0 Milan.
