    Steven Gerrard

    Is 31 today. Depressing.

Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Bless him. A couple of League titles before he retires would be great for him

We'll finally get a decent team together capable of winning the league and he'll end up a squad player due to age.

Scandalous that we've had such poor sides when we've had arguably our second greatest player of all time in the line up. And unlike many in the modern era classed as top players, he's a man for the big occasion - scored in the league cup, Fa cup, Uefa cup and Europesn cup finals.
      Forwards.......

Stevie's still got a good 5 or 6 years left in him I reckon, plenty of time for him to win a championship medal.

Really? 3 years max I reckon. Needs to retire from England too.

                  He's only 31 not 41 FFS!

He's still be playing when he's 37 I reckon, then he will more than likely retire. I do agree with you that he needs to bin England off as it's certainly not helping him.

Think he will be fired up for next season though.

He's only 31. He wont be first team anymore but I reckon he can be still around then as a super sub whilst learning the management side from Kenny, if he ends up going that way, and should get enough appearances to grab a medal if we win.

Gerrard IS the greatest to wear the shirt ever - with all due respect to the King! Was the King as complete a player as Stevie G?! Could he play & excel in ANY position on the park like Stevie has?! NO!
I would even rather have Stevie G in his prime than Leo Messi, Maradona or Pele in their prime ffs!!
Thanks for the memories Rafa - YNWA!
