If he wants to go, get rid!

He is virtually useless out on the wings, and I cant see where there will be a place centrally where he is able to make a real mark with is movement and skill.

AT least if he does go, we can look back fondly on the last few months, rather than the early waste under Benitez and Bodgeson.
In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

Good passer of the ball, makes intelligent runs and is comfortable in possession. I would like to keep him as a squad player, we need some "old heads" in our team.

What wages is he on? Anything above £70k p/w and it would be worth selling.

I'd like us to keep him because he's done well since Kenny came in, having said that I imagine he would be a squad player for the most.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

If he does go who'll take care of Auguero in his first couple of months?

All joking aside, he does seem like a popular player in the squad and a good person to have about the team. I personally think the story is complete balls, or maybe he was misquoted and said he’d like to return one day. Before Kenny took over, we had 12 hard months and Maxi still seemed happy here. I’d be very surprised if he doesn’t give it at least another 12 months to see how things pan out now that the club is going in the right direction.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Be pretty ****ing stupid selling one of our few technically proficient, intelligent footballers. He was made to play in a pass and move team and is great squad material.

Or maybe we should just sell him and bring in that young English lad from Doncaster Rovers for £14.5m.
You hide your sarcasm very well, I'll give you that.

If he hadn't scored those few goals in the last 2 months of the season, I reckon a good 99% of fans (the non-myopic ones) would have him on their list of worst players to ever wear the red shirt. And quite rightly so.
IF he does want to go, at least we might get a few pound as any interested teams will want to know about his most recent performances. That said, the amount we spend on players is almost as farcical as the tiny sums we generally receive so anything could happen.

My God, this place is wild at the minute, I seriously can't believe the sheer amount of crap that is polluting every thread.

Can you explain the bid in bold by chance, I want to decipher if I am a 'myopic fan' or not or just one that doesn't need goals or Sky Sports to tell me if a player is good or not?

he has his faults but he has his good points there have been plenty worse to wear the shirt in my opinion.

i can understand us selling him though as well.
