No dear, I pointed out his run of form, I also pointed out that you only noticed him when he scored. I said nothing about he's only playing well now - read my original post to grasp the jist of what I said.

Rudo/Marky would know I think that we don't really do this "general aggression towards everyone" thing on here. Getting narked occasionally is understandable, but having a go at everyone who disagrees with you as a matter of course is entirely another.

Agreed, but I never said Veron wasn't a good player, because I know what a brlliant player he was (note: was). I just couldn't be arsed to answer every one of Warren's points.

I was referring to the std of the Arg team. The current team have such a std they enter tournaments expected to win, whereas the 2000-5 was just a very good team but not expecting to win.

Joking aside, who are you to know whether or not Argentina are expected to win tournaments now but they weren't 10 years ago? Seems like a ludicrous comment. They've won nothing for 20 years or more and got no further than ghana and paraguay at the 2010 world cup. And they didn't even qualify for the last confederations cup! So what is your point? And does it prove that Maxi is top quality?

Tedious arguments aside, I do rate Maxi. Would be annoyed if we let him go- a valuable squad player & someone you can rely on IMO.

I've mentioned before one of my exes is his cousin. Havent seen her for nearly a decade but she FB messaged me the other day cos we are both off to a mutual mate's wedding. Apparently she's got an invite to Maxi's place & will get to meet team members & stuff. She doesnt even like LFC FFS!! & spent all her time with me cheering for Chavski to wind me up (she's Siciallian & they had Vialli etc the time). Proper ****ing jealous. Might see if I can blag a signed shirt or something.
