Really, it was a genuine question. I mean, we can all get caught up in an argument about any of this sort of stuff but when you sit back and consider it, doesn't it all seem rather a waste of time?

I imagine your answer is no. So what do you get out of it?
    .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

When you break it down, everything is a waste of time. Posting on here is a waste of time. To some extent, going to watch Liverpool matches is a waste of time.

It makes sense. He's essentially crowdsourcing his arguments. It's the only way he can manage to keep so many going simultaneously.

I've wondered for some time if he's not actually a collective of some sort.

Always arguing for argument's sake Craig, isn't it your motto?

Yes. But what's the benefit? Why do you do it? Is it just to pass the time?

I'm not trying to educate you at all. If anything I'm trying to educate myself. I genuinely want to know why you do it to (IMO) such an absurd extent.

Has anyone checked redcafe for the mirror image of this thread?

Or perhaps Craig has fallen in love again but is using a more hard-to-get angle this time?

OK. I'm still a bit baffled though.
