Keeper Pickford has been gash in every game.
They're young kids so they're bound to make mistakes.

The German number 2 looks quality though
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

Yes that's true, but the other teams are kids too!!

I don't think they have played as badly as the scoreline suggests but they have been very naive in defense. The 3 goals conceded have been awful from our point of view.

      Game over now though.

The backheeled assist for the third goal was genius

3-2 shocking piece of defending by Germany
We managed to rectify it, though, because it now says, "Cook" where it once said "Cock", and "Pass" where it once said "Piss", so it’s slightly less rude.

It would be unjust if we got back into this, but I'd laugh if we did.

The difference is that the German youngsters at this stage of their careers is already playing against first team players week in week out for the big club that owns them. If they aren't owned by another club that don't have a B team of course.

But they face better players week in week out than the English players do at the same age.

                      That is a big difference.

Think England have made all their substitutions already

Sterling didn't do a lot, when he was not given the ball. He didn't move forward beside his man - he was very static a lot of the time. When he had the ball, he created something - and is a huge prospect, but his play without ball lacks a lot.

Generally - the British players were physically fit for a full match, but the Germans were far superior technically. In the general tactical setup of the match (very much like in the U-21 Euro's), the British seemed to depend on ability to run like if in a rugbymatch all through 95 minutes, where the other teams plan to play "stop-and-go-and run". The awfull fact is, that the British attitude far to often lose out against teams like Germany, Spain, Holland, France of these reasons. Today they nearly made a recovery, but just didn't make it, and for the sake of Football, I am pleased they didn't.
(but still I hoped for a British goal from that last low ball 2 minutes in to injurytime).
