AC Milan declare interest in Liverpool FC's Alberto Aquilani

AC Milan have admitted that they could make a move for Alberto Aquilani.

The Liverpool midfielder's move to Fiorentina now looks ominous after he attempted to bargain for a permanent switch rather than another loan stint after spending last season with Juventus.

But defending Serie A champions Milan could offer the 27-year-old an escape from Anfield after vice president Adriano Galliani touted the former Roma man as a potential successor to Andrea Pirlo.

"We could talk about Aquilani," he said.

"He’s a midfielder with the characteristics that we are looking for so, like with other players in his role, he could be of interest."

            Depressing watching him play now.

Both goals from corners that he took and also won with decent shots.

Should have done enough tonight, made Adam's and Hendersons contribution look average in the 15 mins he was on the pitch. Class player.

Doni's performance made Adam's and Henderson's contribution look average.

If he is going, wouldn't palermo be interested, after they have sold pastore to the highest bidder?

Has indeed shown glimpses of it in pre season

Imo Kenny should reconsider his plans. He made a huge difference during the pre-season and I think he can still get much better if given an opportunity to play regularly.

I can only imagine uproar if he is sold/loaned and we have a terrible season.
