Yep I mean a player who clearly wants away would be discussing things like the weather, local hotspots etc.. with the guy who handles the transfer negotiations
I didnt realise him supposedly wanting out meant he now cant have a normal regular conversation with someone!
So what is something you can hardly hear meant to be or prove exactly?
Is Commoli really necessary? I just don't get him. Personally I just do not like his role and would much rather entrust the Manager with these duties.
I actually like the role but it depends how much influence and input hes going to have
If hes there as a conduit between board and manager and is there to offer advice to both sides then I'm ok with that
I also like the idea of a DOF being in charge of contract negotiations
However all of this must be done under consultation and approval of the manager
I'd think it would be a great relief to have someone like Comolli when a player say comes up to him and says "You said I could go but now you are haggling over £x million if you reduced your price I could get the move I want"
Kenny can then reply "Dont talk to me go and gripe to Comolli hes the man handling the deals"
Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

Personally I would prefer Kenny to have the authority and remit to just tell the player to "Piss Off!!".

Without the audio its inconclusive to what they are talking about but I think by the law of averages its highly unlikely they are talking about anything other than his transfer
Its clear his leaving has reached an impasse and I'd expect that Aquilani feels we should help facilitate his move by reducing our price further

in a business structure sense a DOF makes perfect sense to me. However i am not sure that the Comolli role as its being done is delivering the advantages that the system should.
one of the advantages we were told was that if we change managers it gives us continuity, from what i can see this is clearly not true in our club.
Its a difficult role in this country as many people think its impossible for it to work.
looking at AA's body language he doesnt look happy about something.
Perhaps he has and perhaps hes been told he still wants to go
From what I'm told the only thing that would change his mind is if LFC relocated to Italy
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."
Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.

If that is the case we need to make it clear - we value you at X, if no bid coming in at the value we want for you, you're staying and the best thing you can do is play your socks off until January to help ensure the move happens then.
Basically put it on him to show he's worth someone coming in and buying him, we need to continue doing what is right for the club - if players such as Aqualani don't like it well tough, I'm sure he'll console himself with his wages!

Maybe, but he can **** off, basically. I don't care what he wants, he's under contract so can do as he's told.
