I was watching the LLBsumat yesterday, Little League Baseball - China vs Mexico ... it distracted me from my HSD Business Plan. I didn't see the need to create a thread on it though, as I thought the LLBsumat would have enough of a following.

Ah yes, they've got the Ireland, England game on repeat. They're putting on their face masks as we speak ... oh, the excitement.

I mean it's no Little League World Series (Consoltation Game B is on this evening, if you went ahead with your ESPN subscription), but then, what is?

womens hockey usually is dire to watch tbh honest.

Watched England Holland in the mens yesterday much better game.

my espn subscription is providing poor value for money even though its free.

it must be a wet dream for yourself.

Hockey is one sport I can't really watch. I *want* to watch ice hockey, but my eyes just have no idea where the puck is; it's just one big blur - I'll stick to crown green bowls.

I think I pay £9 for my ESPN, and yes, it's very much like a wet dream - ESPN to me, is what Babestation is to you.

My bezzie used to play a lot of hockey, it's harder than it looks, so I doff my cap in your direction ... as for the coverage, it's something I've never really noticed.

However, I might be getting dragged down to London next year to watch some, so will have to get up to speed.

Anyhoo, I guess people don't want to read about our eclectic sporting tastes in an Aqualani thread where I've heard he's off to AC Milan on loan by Friday ... perhaps it can be continued in an off topic thread in the chat forum.

                I've been watching MLB recently.

I don't understand a word the commentators are saying though.

On base percentage, pinch hit, walk, fly ball, zingers. Madness.

                    I've genuinely got no idea.

It may just all be subliminal advertising.

                    God I feel hungry now.

At least I don't feel as alone in my random sport watching ... err ... *ness*.

I've been trying to get in to it, but like you, I really struggle with the commentary. It's really cool when somebody launches the ball to second base getting someone out, then lobbing it to first base to get the pitcher out ... it's so quick and accurate.

                          Yes. Yes I do.

We were talking about the Colonel's secret recipe last night in general beer conversation; is it true that only a handful of people know the recipe but they only know half of it, so nobody knows the recipe in full?

We worked out that it arrives at the store in four different bags.

you don't throw the pitcher out at first. it's the batter.

                                That would make more sense.

Talking of pitching, there was one dude pitching with what initially looked like under arm, but was actually a wafty, bendy arm throw going at 89mph ... wow.
