Don't get me wrong, I like them both and in an ideal world I would like them both in our squad next season. For me a lot of it comes down to Gerrards overall fitness, if is season is filled with injuries this year Aquilani would be someone that I would trust to step into his place, as would Raul. Aquilani was injury free last season too was he not? I'd rather him have a chance to prove himself in English football than get shipped out on loan again
