    Norwich tickets

If there's a better forum to post this thread in, then by all means let me know!

I'm a life-long Red born in Warrington who has lived in Montreal for the last 24 years. My son just turned 8 so I decided he was old enough to remember his first trip to Anfield. Liverpool are playing Norwich on October 22nd, which is right in his half-term holiday so I bought two LFC memberships for him and me.

I set my alarm in the middle of the night on the day the tickets went on sale, to be able to phone when the ticket office opened, then waited half an hour to get through, only to hear that the match was already sold out!

Would anyone on the forums know of a way for me to get tickets (without paying a fortune to a scalper)? I know that some extra tickets go on sale a couple of weeks before the match, but I'd have to buy the plane tickets before that, and I'd probably choose not to go at all if I can't be certain I'd be able to go to the game...

    Thanks for your suggestions,

    John Dutton

In all honesty, it shouldn't be that hard a match to get tickets for.

My wife has done the phone in thing when the tickets go on general sale and has managed to get tickets for me both times when I've come over from Oz. One such time we played Norwich and beat them 3-0 and it was my lads first trip to Anfield coincidentally.

One of the kind hearted gents on here may be able to organize something though

    Welcome by the way

If my allocation was still available, i would be able to help here but unfortunately it's accounted for.

All i'd say, for future reference, is that getting tickets online is far easier than via telephone. Obviously doesnt help you in this case but if you need to try again in the future, maybe it'd prove to be a more successful method.

Might be an idea to post this in the ticket forum too.

Good luck, i hope someone can help you out.

I live in South Africa & don't have problems getting tix for matches like Norwich on the odd occasion I've been to Anfield. If u were going to the Man U game, totally different story...
Thanks for the memories Rafa - YNWA!

My nephew was over from Oz this year and wanted to see the scum match at Anfield. His girlfriend paid big bucks and got the hospitality type package which they loved.

So it's fair to say that you cannot make it?

I just hope someone has a cunning plan

i'll try, what's the drive like back down to London after a match?
Thomas Cook offering hotels in Knowsley with the tickets, not preferred but if the drive back is a nightmare then i rather stay a night.

Well it's about 4 hours or so. What other description were you looking for?

                        There'll be some, yes.

It'll take you about 4 hours to drive to London.

cheers, so most likely after midnight, not counting getting lost. Staying the night 1st option then.

I've friends in Sweden and South Africa. When they come over the write to the club (used to be Coco but now Ayres) asking for tickets and every time they've been successful.

                            It's worth a try.

What time is the kickoff for Norwich?

For 3pm games, i'm usually back for around 9:30pm.

You wont get lost, the route back is very easy.
