Good lad, you'll have to make sure you say this before every game for the rest of the season chap!

You're now officially the new Est1892 lucky charm SB!!

x3 .......I love the guy but his lack of quality is so frustrating

Dirk was atrocious tonight, countless 'attacks' broke down at his feet.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I thought he was poor in first (where was he playing?), but did ok in second. No worse than most of his team-mates.

From what I've been told hes homesick and thats that, he was last summer and he is this summer

Right, some positives seen as I'm in a good mood!

Firstly, coming down from 2 nil down to to take the lead was extremely positive.

Secondly we continued to try and play the ball, we played some decent stuff and looked reasonably fit in the process which was encouraging. We played some nice, simple football I felt.

Finally to the players. These are my positives in no particular order.

Shelvey - I like this lad, he is a good player and looks like he has more to offer. Technically he looks decent and I think he will grow into a talented footballer.

Robinson - He's an excellent tackler, lost his man a few times but he recovered well and also has a bit of pace. Good left foot on him and can cross the ball too, comfortable on the ball. Reminds me a bit of Baines, bright future ahead of him.

Downing - Positive going forward, he is good on the ball and is not afraid to take defenders on when he can. He has plenty of experience and has a great cross on him, something we've been lacking for a long time.

Agger - So comfortable on the ball and likes carrying it. Good defender too, let's hope he manages to stay fit for once we really need him this season.

Henderson - I thought he did well tonight, he has a great engine on him and a good work ethic. Again he is positive going forward and will only get better.

Kuyt - As usual worked his arse off, doesn't look 100% fit but when he is he will be quality. Works his tits off this lad and a massive player for us.

Carroll - Again he's working hard, he's chasing balls down and fighting for everything on the pitch which really isn't his forte. He's also ****ed off that horrendous beard too thank ****. Think he will be a cult hero, he get's involved and isn't afraid to give some **** back and we've needed someone like this for a while. He also has some decent touches for a big man, bit Crouchesque.

Aquilani - He is ****ing quality, think he's going to have a good season for us this lad providing he stays. He's got great awareness and most of all he looks relaxed, so calm on the ball and he takes a second to think before playing the ball. Naturally has great technical ability like most Italian footballers.

Adam - Played some nice, simple touches tonight and wasn't afraid to have a pop when he felt like that. He has a great left foot and is very underrated, I can see why Kenny went for him. He will keep things ticking over for us nicely.

Kelly - Although he wasn't on for long you can see what he will offer to us. He's a strong ****er and is great going forward.

Johnson - I've been a big critic of this lad but I think he's improved a lot especially toward the end of the last season. He's better suited on the left though IMO I feel he's more comfortable on that side.

Reina - I'm just so glad he's back, don't need to say anything else.

Spearing - Played well tonight, great at tracking back and plays some nice touches. Good tackler as well.

Sterling - We all know what this lad is capable of. He is going to be world class.

Finallly Flanaghan - IMO he is the nearest thing we've had to Steven Gerrard for a long time. He is a great tackler and a fearless little ****er, he bites and smashes the opposition just like Gerrard use to. He is bloody good on the ball too, doesn't just hoof it he will always look for an simple pass. He's only going to improve too, I actually think he would be better suited to a role in Midfield or further up the pitch than in defence.

Anyway, sorry to bore you all.

Kuyt wasn't the worst player on the pitch, but you just know what you're going to get from him from a passing perspective most times. Specially when he's not fit or has top notch players around him, then its just frowning bad.

I've heard that rumour too Lec mate but, i fear that a new loan deal to whoever will infact do more harm than good IMO as its bound to effect his moral somewhat eventually, given what i've seen of Aqua in pre season, he's either putting on a good face and performance or is a master of disguise .

I'm not having a pop at you Lec bud but, i find this whole siario fustrating

We score a lot when he play and create very little with him on the bench. He also have a part in almost every goal we score when he plays so it is not just other players that make a difference. Aquilani is the difference from **** attacking football to very good attacking football this pre-season.

He has been our best player in the pre-season regardless if Kenny doesn't have him in his plans or if he wants to leave.

                          Sadly I agree.

Only hope is that Kenny puts stop to those ideas and start looking at him as legitimate first choice alternative.

                              Kenny: Hard work ahead

Kenny Dalglish admits there is still work to do ahead of our season opener in two weeks' time following a 3-3 draw with Valerenga on Monday night.

The boss was pleased with the performance of his players during the second half in Oslo as two late goals from Daniel Agger ensured the game ended level.

Andy Carroll had earlier bagged his second goal of pre-season by converting one of several accurate crosses from Stewart Downing.

Dalglish told Liverpoolfc.tv: "It was obviously more pleasing in the second half, we were closing down higher up the pitch. In the first half we stood off. They wanted time to play and we gave them time to play.

"You've got Pepe (Reina) back after his operation, Daniel Agger back, which was good. Raheem (Sterling) got a wee run. Stephen Sama got a wee run as well, so there are some positives.

"We've got to start looking towards the (league) games. The important thing is we've got to be better when we don't have the ball - but the boys aren't shy of hard work. There's an educated week's training ahead."

The trip to Norway brings to an end the travelling for this pre-season, with the Reds having visited China, Malaysia, Singapore and Turkey before Monday's game.

Dalglish has one more match to fine tune his side for the season opener against Sunderland - a showpiece friendly against Valencia at Anfield.

Dalglish added: "The travelling is necessary nowadays because of the stature of the club. It's something we have to do and something we're glad to do. You want to show gratitude to people for their fantastic support. Coming here is much the same - it's a pleasure to come here and play.

"We've had a wee bit of travel but that's to be expected. That won't impinge in any way, shape or form the work we're going to have to do."
